I'm Mori - a Dorset bridal makeup artist, mum of two, total glow chaser and self-confessed eyeliner obsessive.

Beautiful makeup starts with beautiful skin, so that's where I always begin. Think healthy, glowing skin, softly sculpted features and seamless blending, nothing heavy or cakey. Then comes my favourite part: a softly defined, sultry eye that makes you feel a little bit sexy and totally unforgettable.
My sweet spot sits somewhere between natural and soft glam. Fresh and radiant, but with enough definition to really shine, in person and in your photos. Every look is still tailored to you, your style and your dress, so whether you want to dial it up or keep it softer, we'll find your perfect balance together. More than just beautiful makeup
The makeup is important, of course! But truly, one of my favourite parts of this job is being welcomed into such a special morning.
I'll arrive with good energy, a calm head and (if you'll let me) some soft 60s music. I love being one of the girls, sharing the laughs, settling any nerves and being there for the happy tears. But I'm also keeping one eye on the clock, so everything runs smoothly and all you have to do is soak it up.
Before the big day, you'll get a full timeline for your morning, so everyone knows exactly when they're in the chair. No guessing, no stress, just a lovely, relaxed morning with your favourite people.

THE PROCESS
How it works
1. Secure your date
Pop your wedding details through my enquiry form and I'll send you a personalised quote. Once you've accepted and paid your deposit, your date is officially secured in my diary and I’m exclusively yours on your wedding day!

Your bridal trial
This is where the magic begins! Your trial is a relaxed 2-hour appointment at my home in Blandford Forum, usually 3-6 months before your wedding. We'll chat about your dress, your styling, your inspiration photos and, most importantly, how you want to feel. Then we'll play, tweak and fine-tune until it's perfect. You'll leave knowing exactly how your makeup will look on the day.

The lead up
Once your trial's done, you're not on your own! As your day gets closer, I'll put together your wedding morning timeline, so everyone knows when they're in the chair and there's plenty of breathing space built in. In the meantime, message me any time. Nothing is too small or too silly to ask, and I love hearing how your plans are coming together!

Your wedding morning
This is my favourite part! I'll arrive with good energy and everything we need, then work my way through your girls before it's your turn, second to last, so your makeup is fresh and you're not rushing. Once you're dressed, I'll be there for final touch-ups, a little lippy and powder for everyone, and I'll stay right until you walk out the door to your ceremony. You'll leave with a bespoke touch-up kit too, so you can keep glowing into the night!

A few helpful things to know:
Peak season Saturday and Sunday weddings (April - October) have a minimum booking spend of £555.
Booking just for you? Your peak season booking includes up to 2 extra hours of touch-ups on the day!
For larger bridal parties or tighter timelines, I may recommend an additional artist, so the morning stays calm and relaxed.
Travel beyond the included distance and any additional artists are quoted individually.
Flower girls under 10 get a complimentary light touch of makeup ♡

I'm based in Blandford Forum and cover Dorset, Hampshire and the surrounding areas. Travel within 10 miles of DT11 is included, and anything further is quoted based on your venue.

Absolutely! Lots of my brides don't. We'll create something that feels comfortable and still like you, just elevated, and your trial is the perfect chance to try it out and tweak it until you love it.

Makeup is my speciality, so I don't offer hair, but I'm always happy to recommend some fab stylists. Just ask and I'll send over a few names!

As soon as you've got your date and venue sorted! Most of my brides book around 12 months ahead, especially for peak season weekends, so the earlier the better. My 2027 diary is now open ♡

Honestly, I'm a bit obsessed with good products! My kit is full of my luxury faves from brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass and Nars. They give the most gorgeous glow, last all day and look fab in photos. And Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter? I could never be without it!

Yes, always! Every skin is beautiful and every skin is different, and I love that. With nearly 12 years under my belt (including my time at MAC, Tom Ford and Bobbi Brown), I've worked with so many different skin tones and types. I'll pick products that suit you, so your skin looks and feels amazing all day.

Typically, bridal makeup takes around 1.5 hours, while bridal party members take approximately 1 hour each. A detailed schedule will be created to ensure everything runs smoothly!

Of course! I always stay right up until you leave for your ceremony, with final touch-ups for everyone once you're dressed. You'll also have your bespoke touch-up kit for the rest of the day. But if you'd feel better with me there for longer, or fancy a whole new look for the evening, I'd love to! Just ask and I'll include it in your quote.

Don't worry, I've got you! Before your trial, I'll send over a short questionnaire where you can tell me about any allergies, sensitive skin or products you love (or can't stand!). I'll tailor everything to you as best I can, and we can chat it all through at your trial too.
